FAQ
Who qualifies for weekly holiday pay?
Work 15+ contracted hours in a week with no absences. Lateness/early leave doesn't break attendance. Applies to workplaces of any size.
What is the formula?
(Weekly hours ÷ 40) × 8 × hourly wage, capped at 8 hours. E.g. 20h/week at 10,030 KRW → 40,120 KRW.
What if it isn't paid?
Unpaid holiday pay is wage theft—file with the Ministry of Employment and Labor (call 1350) with your contract and work records.
