FAQ
How do I find my regular hourly wage?
Divide your ordinary monthly wage by standard monthly hours—209 hours for a 40-hour week. E.g. 2.5M KRW ÷ 209 ≈ 11,962 KRW.
Why is night pay only 50%?
The base 100% is assumed paid in salary; only the extra 50% premium is shown. Overtime that's also at night stacks to 200%.
Does this apply to every workplace?
Workplaces with fewer than 5 regular employees are exempt from these premiums. Confirm specifics with the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
