FAQ
What's the difference between Mbps and MB/s?
Mbps is megabits per second; MB/s is megabytes per second. Since 1 byte = 8 bits, a 100 Mbps line downloads at most 12.5 MB/s.
Why do real downloads take longer?
The estimate assumes the theoretical maximum. Server limits, congestion, protocol overhead, and Wi-Fi quality typically add 10–20% or more.
Can I estimate upload time?
Yes—enter your upload speed in the speed field. Note that many plans have slower upload than download.
